Imagine a human family with a wild bear as their best friend. It may sound unbelievable, but it’s true! A couple from Russia has had an extraordinary bond with their bear for 23 years.
Svetlana and Yuriy Panteleenko adopted little Stepan when he was just three months old. The tiny cub was rescued by hunters in the forest, in poor condition. The couple took Stepan in, caring for him and giving him the love and protection he needed.
Now, 23 years later, Stepan is no longer a tiny cub. He’s a massive 300-pound, 7-foot bear who has grown up with the Panteleenkos as part of their family.
Despite his size, Stepan is sweet and loves nothing more than hugging his humans and cuddling up with them. Some people may be scared of his huge appearance, but Stepan is actually very gentle.
He enjoys life with his family and even helps around the house. Stepan waters the plants and never harms anyone.
In his downtime, Stepan loves watching TV with Svetlana and Yuriy. He never misses a cuddle session during their favorite shows.
To keep his giant frame healthy, Stepan eats up to 25kg of fish, eggs, and vegetables daily. His all-time favorite treat? A can of condensed milk.
Stepan also has a love for modeling. He enjoys being part of photoshoots and movies. When he’s not in front of the camera, he’s playing football or just moving around.
