Weddings are supposed to be magical moments, but one couple’s big day became a hot topic on social media—for all the wrong reasons.
The drama started with a TikTok video showing newlyweds walking down the aisle hand-in-hand. While the bride was glowing with happiness, her husband seemed far less invested. Instead of cherishing the moment, he had his head down, glued to his phone.
Yes, you read that right. The groom appeared to be texting.

TikTok user @brandotyft shared the clip, captioned with #EarlyRedFlags, and the internet wasted no time calling him out. The video quickly went viral, sparking outrage and a flood of comments urging the bride to reconsider her marriage.
One commenter didn’t hold back: “This is real sad. I’d be divorcing him the same day—no joke.”
Another chimed in, “Divorce, babe. Divorce.”
Many couldn’t believe the level of disrespect on display. “Is he for real? That’s so disrespectful to his bride and everyone else,” one person wrote.
Another went a step further: “If I were the bride, I’d grab his phone, create a scene, and leave. The height of disrespect!”
While this shocking moment is making waves, it’s not the only wedding-day horror story making headlines.
In another viral incident, a bride named Lois Ghost-Adderley shared a clip of her wedding videographer openly insulting her guests during the event. While reviewing footage of their special day, she and her husband were appalled to hear the videographer refer to their guests as “f****g mngs” in a conversation with his girlfriend—whom he had insisted on bringing to the wedding.
Even worse? The videographer never apologized and blocked the couple on social media.
“So I highly doubt he is sorry,” the bride wrote in her Facebook post, which included the incriminating audio. “I want to spread awareness of his unprofessionalism.”
From texting grooms to trash-talking videographers, these stories serve as a reminder to choose your wedding team—and your spouse—wisely.
Let’s hope this bride takes the advice pouring in online. After all, some red flags are impossible to ignore.
What do you think? Should the bride give her husband another chance, or is this unforgivable? Share your thoughts in the comments—or send this to someone who loves a good wedding drama!
