15 Years Later, Woman Finds Her Lost Ring in a Carrot

Mary Grams lost something incredibly special while working in her garden 15 years ago: her diamond engagement ring. Despite her best efforts, she never managed to find it—until now.

You won’t believe where the ring turned up! Recently, while Mary’s daughter-in-law, Colleen, was picking carrots from the garden, she made an astonishing discovery. As Colleen pulled a carrot from the ground, she saw something sparkling around it. To her amazement, Mary’s lost engagement ring was wrapped around the carrot! If we didn’t know the backstory, we might think the carrot was preparing for its own wedding.

Mary was astonished. She had thought the ring was gone forever. It’s often said that lost items show up in the last place you look, and this ring’s reappearance is a perfect example. It’s one thing to find a ring in the garden, but to see it perfectly encircling a carrot is extraordinary.

Mary had worn the ring since 1951, a gift from her husband, Norman. When she lost it in 1966, she didn’t tell Norman and eventually replaced it. Mary, now living in Alberta, is still on the family farm, which has been in her family for 100 years.

When Colleen found the ring, she knew immediately it belonged to Mary. Even though Norman has passed away, Mary plans to wear the ring again. Amazingly, it still fits perfectly.

This story is one of the most incredible we’ve heard in a long time. If you want to see more about this surprising discovery, watch the video below. Don’t forget to share this amazing tale with your friends and family. Congratulations to Mary and Colleen for reuniting with this precious treasure!
