Becoming a mom? For Jenny Darling, it comes with a hefty price tag—$315,000 a year, to be exact.
The 23-year-old London-based influencer has gone viral after revealing that she would only consider having a child if her partner funds her motherhood experience. And she’s not talking about diapers and daycare—her demands include therapy, a personal trainer, a luxury push present, and a full mommy makeover.
“This is going to ruffle a few feathers,” she admitted in a TikTok video outlining her list of non-negotiables. “But this is my preference. I’m not here to suffer.”

Darling, who previously said she never wanted children and even asked doctors to remove her uterus, is now open to the idea—under the right conditions. She insists that if she’s going to go through pregnancy and childbirth, she needs financial security, physical recovery support, and a lifestyle that doesn’t leave her feeling drained.
Her “motherhood contract” includes some serious terms: a marriage before pregnancy, a prenuptial agreement with an infidelity clause, and an extravagant babymoon abroad. But the biggest condition? A $315,000 annual allowance per child.
“This will basically cover my weekly therapy sessions, before and after giving birth,” she explained. “A personal trainer to get me all fit and healthy, get my confidence back. Obviously, grocery shopping and just things I need for the kids.”

And that’s not all. Darling also demands a doula, a housekeeper for six months post-birth (later replaced by a weekly cleaner), and a high-end push present—think a car or an apartment. Plus, she plans to cut back on work for at least the first few years of motherhood.
While some might call her demands over-the-top, Darling stands by them. She believes that if a man wants her to have his child, he should be willing to invest in her well-being.
Her stance has sparked debate, with some supporting her right to set boundaries and others calling her expectations unrealistic. Meanwhile, conversations around modern parenting continue to heat up. Recently, another viral video championed the DINK (Dual Income, No Kids) lifestyle, where couples prioritize financial freedom and luxury over raising children.
