What would you do if your boyfriend didn’t use toilet paper? No, not that he ran out—he simply refused to use it. One TikToker’s story has the internet horrified, and after hearing it, you might agree she made the right call by breaking up with him.
Alexandra Maria Clara (@withlovefromalex) recently shared a jaw-dropping experience about her ex-boyfriend, and the internet is losing its mind. In her viral TikTok, she revealed how a simple trip to the bathroom exposed a deal-breaking habit she never saw coming.
It all started when she noticed his apartment had run out of toilet paper. Naturally, she let him know. His response? A casual, “Oh, sorry.” No big deal—people forget things. She carried tissues in her purse, so she made do and reminded him to pick some up next time he went to the store.

A week later, still no toilet paper. That’s when Alexandra started getting suspicious.
“So I said, ‘Hey, I think you forgot to pick up the toilet paper,’” she recalled. His answer? Another nonchalant “Oh yeah, sorry, I forgot.”
Later that day, they made a Target run for snacks. Perfect opportunity, right? Wrong. As they wandered the aisles, Alexandra reminded him to grab some toilet paper. That’s when he hit her with a confession that left her stunned.
“This man looks me dead in the eye and says, ‘I’m not gonna do that.’”

Confused, she asked why. His answer? “Because I don’t use toilet paper.”
Wait… what?
Trying to process what she just heard, Alexandra asked the only logical follow-up: “Then what do you use?”
His answer: “Wet wipes.”
While that may not be the worst alternative, his total resistance to keeping toilet paper in his apartment was bizarre. So, she took matters into her own hands. At a separate register, she bought a pack of toilet paper just for herself.
When they got back to his apartment, she pulled the ultimate power move—leaving the toilet paper in her car.
“I grab my keys, leave, go into my car, get a roll of toilet paper, walk back into his apartment with my toilet paper, use the restroom, come out, and I get my keys again,” she explained.

That’s when he asked the ultimate question: “You’re not going to leave it here?”
Her response? “Nope. I bought this entire pack just for myself to keep in my car so that when I visit, I can use it.”
Yeah, the relationship didn’t last much longer after that.
The Internet Reacts
After her video racked up nearly a million views, people had thoughts. Lots of them.
One person asked the obvious: “Why didn’t you break up with him immediately?”
Another was straight to the point: “I would’ve just ended it after ‘I don’t use toilet paper.’”

A third shared their own escape plan: “I would have left Target and gone straight home.”
Some were less focused on the breakup and more concerned with his plumbing (and the environment). One user begged: “Please, for the love of all that is good, do NOT flush wet wipes—even the ‘flushable’ ones.”
Moral of the story? Some red flags are small. Some are waving wildly in the wind. And some are… well, no toilet paper.
