Dakara Spence, the restaurant’s owner, was inspired by Kayallah’s positivity. She noticed Kayallah’s courage and knew she had to bring her on board as a server.

“I told her, ‘I’m going to hire you,’ and when I saw your happy dance, I wanted you to keep dancing,” Spence recalled. “Kayallah was screaming with joy on the phone. It was such a beautiful moment!”

Her dance video took off, amassing over 1.2 million views on Instagram and 1.5 million on TikTok and Twitter. Spence shared the footage, showing how Kayallah first looked around to ensure no one was watching. After her dance, she casually walked away as if nothing had happened.
