It’s not every day you see a plane seemingly frozen in mid-air, but that’s exactly what TikTok user Tania captured on video—and people can’t stop talking about it.
In a 10-second clip shared last month, Tania films a plane hovering eerily in the sky as she drives underneath it. The video, set to a haunting tune, features the overlay text: “WTF.” And honestly, same.

Tania’s caption added fuel to the mystery: “Glitch in Matrix? This isn’t the first time I’ve seen this in Chicago either.” Naturally, TikTok users flooded the comments section with theories, jokes, and their own bizarre experiences.
“Stuff is starting to happen, strange things. Mark my words, the government is planning something. I just don’t know what yet,” one user wrote ominously.
Another agreed, questioning the laws of physics: “Can’t no plane just sit in idle… yeah, definitely a glitch.”
One commenter, clearly shaken, shared: “I would’ve had to pull over and get out to make sure I was seeing this correctly… This is wicked lol.”
The spookiness didn’t stop there. Many users chimed in with similar stories. “I saw one like this in Kentucky,” one said. “After I drove under it, I turned back to look, and it was gone.”
Another added: “My daughter and I saw one a month ago. We thought we were going crazy!”
But not everyone was convinced the Matrix was crumbling. Some TikTokers brought out their inner physicist to explain what was happening.
