A TikToker’s controversial plan to “cancel out” vegans by doubling his meat consumption has landed him in hot water online.
In a video posted by user @ulissesworld, the man films himself devouring a plate of meat with a caption that reads: “Been eating twice as much meat lately, so that one vegan that thinks they’re making a difference is actually making no difference at all.”
The internet wasn’t impressed.

Vegans often face criticism for their lifestyle choices, despite the valid reasons many adopt it—health benefits, environmental concerns, or animal welfare. Ironically, it’s usually vegans’ vocal advocacy that annoys some people the most. But this time, it’s a meat-eater’s turn in the spotlight—and not in a good way.
After the video circulated on Reddit, the backlash was swift and brutal.
One user pointed out the irony: “So he’s saying a vegan does actually make a difference, so much that he has to work overtime to make up for it.”
Another added: “They’re just going to die sooner from clogged arteries. In the end, they will have consumed way less meat.”
Some didn’t hold back at all, with one commenter writing: “No amount of meat they consume will compensate for their insecurities or change their pathetic reality. Seems like maybe this person has nothing better to do, which reflects their nasty personality.”
Beyond the ridicule, the stunt raises a deeper question: Are those who treat meat consumption as a personality trait more insufferable than the vegans they criticize?
Ultimately, his efforts seem pointless. Eating twice as much meat isn’t just unsustainable—it likely results in wasted food and doesn’t undo the impact of veganism. Meanwhile, health experts warn that overloading on red meat can have serious consequences.
Perhaps the age-old saying “live and let live” applies here. Because if fighting vegans means clogging your arteries for a petty TikTok video, maybe it’s time to rethink your priorities.
So, what’s your take? Is this meat-eating revenge justified or just plain ridiculous? Share your thoughts—and maybe send this article to a friend for a laugh.
