If you’re a cat lover, you might remember Narnia—the cat with the striking two-colored face! His face is perfectly split between gray and black. We first met him in 2018, and now this big boy is a proud father to two adorable kittens: black-haired Prada and gray-haired Phoenix. Each of them sports one of their dad’s unique colors!
“When Narnia was born, I was shocked. I knew right away he was something special,” shared his owner, Stephanie Jiminez. Narnia has grown from a cute kitten into a full-blown heartthrob…and now, he’s a dad!
Stephanie explained that Narnia truly loves being a father. “He’s doing great and enjoys playing with his kittens,” she said. This isn’t Narnia’s first time as a dad. He’s had several litters before! Along with Prada and Phoenix, he’s also the father of light brown twins Orfée and Ozanna, all-black Roswell, gray Rose, and two beautiful, multi-colored boys, Phantom and Polaris.
Narnia’s stunning blue eyes are a showstopper. Except for Prada and Phoenix, all of his other kittens have inherited this breathtaking trait. “It’s very rare,” Stephanie noted. “Only a few fully colored cats have blue eyes, thanks to a new gene called ‘ice.’”
Narnia was born in Paris but now calls Britain home with Stephanie. At first, people thought he was a rare chimera cat. However, genetic testing proved otherwise. “A geneticist found that Narnia has only one DNA,” Stephanie said, leaving his unique look a mystery for science!
