Meet Kiko, the Pup Who Can’t Help but Steal the Spotlight in Group Photos
In every group, there’s that one friend who just can’t stay serious for a picture. For this adorable canine pack, it’s Kiko—a mischievous Finnish spitz with a flair for turning heads. Literally.
While her furry family strikes their best poses, Kiko rebels, snapping her head back in a dramatic, “How does she even bend like that?!” kind of way. Her unique quirk has earned her the title of “the rebel,” and honestly, her antics make the photos even better.
Some might call it misbehaving, but Kiko’s owner, Ashleigh Macpherson, and her furry siblings don’t seem to mind. In fact, they’ve embraced her quirky charm.
Meet the Crew
In an interview, Ashleigh introduced her four-legged family:
- Mika, a 3-year-old Finnish spitz and the proud mom of two pups.
- Tofu, Mika’s 1.5-year-old daughter, who’s full of spunk.
- Kiko, the 9-month-old troublemaker, and Mika’s youngest.
- Kaya, a graceful White Swiss shepherd, 6 years old, and the “mother figure” of the group.
“They’re crazy little dogs—sassy and very cat-like,” Ashleigh shared. “They’re small but have huge personalities. Kiko, in particular, is a Covid puppy, raised during the lockdown. She was a singleton, meaning she had no littermates, so she grew up around cats. Maybe that’s why she’s such a quirky character!”
Kiko’s Signature Move
Although all the dogs are trained to sit and pose, Kiko has her own ideas. As a puppy, she started turning her head to look back at Ashleigh mid-pose. What started as a rebellious habit has now turned into her signature trick.
“If she’s facing the other way, she’ll instinctively snap her head back to look at me,” Ashleigh explained. “It’s just her thing, and honestly, we love it.”
A Day in the Life of This Adorable Pack
Kiko and her crew live their best lives. They go on hikes and walks twice a day, keeping their energy levels in check. Finnish spitz dogs are known for their high energy, so Ashleigh ensures they train daily to stay obedient and happy.
“Kiko comes to work with me, while the others stay home and nap until I’m back,” Ashleigh said. “Then it’s time for our second adventure of the day.”
Whether she’s hiking with her pack or playfully “ruining” group photos, Kiko’s larger-than-life personality makes her unforgettable.
