We’ve always thought that only humans could get jobs, right? But would you believe me if I told you a dog has been hired as a full-time employee at Hyundai?
Yep, you read that correctly!
At first, the staff at Hyundai Prime didn’t think much of the stray pup hanging around their store. They assumed he’d move on. But, surprisingly, he stuck around.
Lucky for him, he met some kind-hearted people. That stray pup, now known as Tucson Prime, found a new home and even landed an official spot at the dealership – complete with his own ID!
Tucson was officially hired and adopted in May, but it wasn’t until recently that his story went viral. Hyundai Brazil shared the tale of their new ‘pawfessional consultant’ on Instagram, and people couldn’t get enough.
The team simply wanted to give Tucson a better life, but he ended up winning the hearts of customers. He was so charming that he even earned a promotion!
According to Emerson Mariano, the showroom manager, clients love Tucson. They’ve even returned after buying their cars just to visit him. Mariano mentioned that Tucson’s “caring and gentle nature” has made the showroom feel more welcoming.
Mariano still remembers the night he first helped Tucson. It was a rainy evening, and the sight of the stray dog tugged at his heart. So, he invited Tucson in for food and water.
Though he didn’t plan on keeping him, Tucson’s big heart worked its magic. The story from there feels like a fairy tale.
“The company has always been pet-friendly,” Mariano shared, “so we decided to fully embrace that by making Tucson part of the team – especially in times like these when so many animals are being abandoned.”
Tucson has since been vaccinated and received all the care he needed. As if being a Hyundai employee wasn’t enough, Tucson is set to star in a national advertising campaign for the company next year!
