A mom on TikTok shared a chilling story that sent shivers down the spines of thousands of viewers. Her two-year-old daughter woke up from an afternoon nap absolutely terrified, insisting there was someone in her closet. But this wasn’t just a bedtime monster tale – other parents claim their kids saw the same thing.
In a now-viral video, TikTok user @sinatrainmylap explained how her little girl led her straight to the closet, pointing to the corner and saying, “That’s a person.” The supposed “person” was near a box of diapers, and at first, the mom thought her daughter was spooked by Elsa from Frozen smiling on the packaging. But the toddler wasn’t having it.
“She’s talking about a grown person,” the mom clarified, as her daughter clung to her, scared and repeating, “I’m scared… that’s a person.”

The unsettling moment didn’t end there. After the video was posted, the comments section exploded with eerie responses.
One viewer revealed, “I paused the video when you showed the closet, and my 4-year-old said she saw a person in the same spot!” Another wrote, “I showed this to my two-year-old, and he said it’s ‘daddy’ – my husband has dark hair and eyes.”
Even stranger, multiple commenters described seeing a face in the diaper box, with one writing, “When you opened the closet, it looked like Elsa’s mouth was part of a face. So creepy!”
Despite removing the diaper box, the toddler insisted someone was still there. In a follow-up video, the mom explained that closing the closet door seemed to help. “She’s okay now, but she still stares at the door when we’re in her room,” the mom said.
And if that wasn’t eerie enough, the little girl later confirmed to her mom that the figure she saw was a woman. The mom admitted she hasn’t asked too many questions, worried it might stir up more fear.
