This Virtual Model Scored an $11K Monthly Paycheck—No Human Required

A stunning Spanish model is taking the internet by storm, raking in $11,000 a month. But here’s the twist—she isn’t real.

Meet Aitana López, a 25-year-old, pink-haired influencer with a massive online following. She shares fitness tips, gaming content, and exclusive photos. The only thing missing? A heartbeat.

Aitana is entirely AI-generated, designed by Spanish digital artist Rubén Cruz. While most influencers battle for brand deals, Aitana effortlessly pulls in $132,000 a year without ever setting foot in a photoshoot.

Why Create an AI Model?

Cruz, the founder of The Clueless, an AI modeling agency, was fed up with working with human influencers—dealing with their egos, scheduling conflicts, and high costs. So, he created Aitana, a digital model who never gets tired, never complains, and always looks flawless.

“We wanted to make a better living without depending on people who have egos or just want to make a lot of money by posing,” Cruz told EuroNews.

Unlike traditional influencers, Aitana’s life is carefully curated. Her team decides what she wears, where she “travels,” and even what her personality is like. She’s a Barcelona-based fitness enthusiast, a gamer, and—just for fun—a Scorpio.

A $1,000 Face Without a Soul

With over 330,000 Instagram followers, Aitana is a marketing goldmine. Brands pay up to $1,000 for a single ad featuring her, and fans even subscribe to her exclusive content on Fanvue.

But here’s where things get even wilder—she’s so realistic that even celebrities have been fooled. Cruz recalled a well-known Latin American actor who slid into her DMs, completely unaware she wasn’t real.

“He had no idea Aitana didn’t exist,” Cruz laughed.

The Future of Influencing?

Cruz argues that AI influencers could be a cheaper alternative for brands that would otherwise pay millions for human celebrities.

Of course, not everyone is thrilled. Critics say AI models reinforce unrealistic beauty standards and blur the line between reality and fiction. Cruz, however, shrugs off the criticism.

“If we don’t follow this aesthetic, brands won’t be interested,” he admitted.

While AI raises ethical concerns, one thing is clear—Aitana’s making more money than most of us, and she doesn’t even need a lunch break.

So, what do you think? Would you follow an AI influencer, or is this a sign we’ve officially entered the dystopian future?
