Immediately after the fall, Madi’s hands darted to her mouth, and her friends rushed to check on her. Between assessing the damage, she turned to the camera and joked, “Can someone drop some subs for my busted ** tooth?” Viewers couldn’t miss the damage—one of her front teeth was completely shattered.

A Reminder of the Risks of Streaming Live
Madi’s accident isn’t the first time a Twitch livestream took a dangerous turn. Back in October, Adriana Chechik faced a far worse injury at TwitchCon San Diego. While sparring in a foam pit, Chechik leaped with excitement—only to land awkwardly and break her back in two places.

The injury was so severe that she required surgery to insert a metal rod for support. Chechik later tweeted, “When it rains, it pours, and I am definitely feeling the rain right now.”
