Would You Split a $4,600 Dinner Check? This Guy Said No!

A birthday dinner should be a celebration, but for TikToker Vicc Gotti, it turned into a heated argument over a jaw-dropping $4,600 bill.

Victor Christian, better known as Vicc Gotti on TikTok, uploaded a video capturing the fiery debate between friends after a woman’s birthday dinner. The tension kicked off when the birthday girl confidently declared she shouldn’t have to pay for her meal.

@viccgotti WHO WAS WRONG IN THIS SITUATION? THAT BILL WAS OVER 4600 dollars. #viccgotti #debate ♬ original sound – Viccgotti
@viccgotti YALL STORY TIME THIS GIRL WAS MY BEST FRIEND SINCE THE 3rd grade … and she got in frint of her other friends ans started acting funny with me they call me and our friends broke because we didnt want to pay a 4600 dollar bill #viccgotti #debate ♬ original sound – Viccgotti

“It’s my f***g birthday,” she exclaimed. “Why the f** should I have to pay for something on my birthday?”

Christian wasn’t having it. “Why should I pay for something I didn’t buy?” he shot back.

The video, now boasting over 15.9 million views, shows the group erupting into chaos. One friend firmly stated, “I’m not splitting the bill, shawty. That’s crazy!” while another, dressed in a striking pink suit, countered, “We come out together; we split the bill. Period!”

But not everyone agreed. A man pointed to the lavish spread on the table and said, “You got lamb chop, you got steak—look at all they got—and now they want to split the bill. Y’all ordered way too much.”

The TikTok sparked an avalanche of comments, with viewers divided on how they’d handle the situation.

Some supported Christian’s stance, like one commenter who wrote: “If I invite people out, I cover the check. But in this case, I’d pay for what I ate.” Another quipped: “I’m only paying for what I ATEE!”

Others argued that splitting the bill was fair, especially for a birthday. “Everyone pays their own bill, and the birthday girl eats free. That’s it!” one person suggested. Another added, “Split the bill and cover the birthday girl. She shouldn’t pay anything!”

The fallout didn’t end there. In a follow-up video, Christian revealed that the incident fractured his years-long friendship with the birthday girl, whom he’d known since the third grade.

“We’re not on good terms anymore,” he admitted. “I told the waiter, ‘Don’t split anything for me. They can split if they want, but I’m not here for that.’”

So, what do you think? Would you cover the birthday person’s bill, split the check evenly, or just pay for what you ordered? Share your thoughts in the comments or with your friends—this debate isn’t ending anytime soon!
